Understanding algorithm bias in artificial intelligence-enabled ERP software customization

Purpose Algorithm bias refers to repetitive computer program errors that give some users more weight than others. The aim of this article is provide a deeper insight algorithm in AI-enabled ERP software customization. Although algorithmic machine learning models has uneven, unfair and unjust impacts, research on it mostly anecdotal scattered. Design/methodology/approach As guided by the previous (Akter et al. , 2022), study presents possible design (model, data method) one may experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) customization algorithm. This then artificial intelligence (AI) version using k-nearest neighbours Findings illustrates when prioritized requirements estimation (PRCE) available literature executed without any AI. Then, authors present their newly developed AI PRCE uses ML techniques. discuss its adjoining an illustration. Further, also draw roadmap for managing during practice. Originality/value To best authors’ knowledge, no prior attempted understand occurs execution (with or AI).
